Virgil Ortiz is redefining the sophistication of multi-media artworks with his impressive clay and glass work series. In 2015, he was invited for a residency at the Corning Museum of Glass and created a new series of large glass vessels.  This innovative approach embodies two materials both derived from sand, yet resulting in dramatically different art objects. He has combined the glass with clay finials which continue his story of the Pueblo Revolt 1680/2180.
